About me (in context)

Bill Tozier

I’ve been working with genetic programming since the day after John Koza slapped an early copy of Jaws I into my hands in Santa Fe in 1993. Among other things, I teach people about evolutionary algorithms, metaheuristics, operations research, artificial life, agent-based systems design, engineering emergent systems, complexity research, and all that other engaging crap people who carry the mesquite scent of Santa Fe have been waving their hands about for two decades now. I’m a co-founder of Vague Innovation, LLC, and a few other companies you probably won’t have heard of.

Vague Innovation

Vague Innovation, LLC is an Ann Arbor-based business development firm specializing in open-source projects and helping non-employee businesses thrive. It’s the primary sponsor of this project.
